Guided Tomcar Tours - Our excursions are truly unique in that guests above the age of 18 do the driving.  We searched the world for the most exciting yet easy to use vehicles that would afford our guests the excitement and comfort they deserve and we found the Tomcar.  Originally developed for use by the Israeli Defense Forces special operations units, Desert Wolf Tours owns a fleet of these vehicles that our guests self-pilot, during guided tours through the beautiful Sonoran Desert. The Tomcar is an easy to drive vehicle that requires 10 minutes of instruction...you will truly appreciate its amazing capabilities as well as the comfortable ride.

Tread Lightly! is a national nonprofit organization with a mission to proactively protect recreation access and opportunities in the outdoors through education and stewardship. Tread Lightly!’s educational message, along with its training and restoration initiatives are strategically designed to instill an ethic of responsibility in a wide  variety of outdoor enthusiasts and the industries that serve them. The organization’s goal is to balance the needs of the people who enjoy outdoor recreation with our need to maintain a healthy environment and it’s leading the way to help remedy current and future recreation issues.

We share in, practice and support Leave No Trace skills and ethics and believe in the stewardship of America’s public lands. In addition to our partnership with the 2 organizations listed above, Desert Wolf Tours is proud to be the first Arizona tour outfit to carry an AED unit at all times.  As seasoned guides trained in first aid and CPR/AED, this allows us to step up our committment as stewards of the desert community.
