Firearms Experience

As Arizona’s first, AND foremost recreational shooting experience provider, Desert Wolf Tours has earned the respect and trust of the area resorts, DMCs, and corporate event planners that have sent us thousands of guests since 2006!  Our unique skills take you well beyond a ‘point & shoot’ experience. You’ll be trained by one of our NRA certified Rifle & Pistol Instructors…folks who have military backgrounds, sniper qualifications, etc. And we specialize in providing individuals, and groups, with the skills required to operate firearms in a responsible and responsive manner. We thrill complete novices and seasoned operators, male and female, 12 years old to 80 years young!

You’ll meet us at our base of operations and be given an exciting and fun briefing on the technology of the firearms you’ll be issued, as well as the science behind ballistics. Before handling live weapons, you will drill with the use of ‘blue’ plastic replicas. You’ll then move on to live fire exercises with American made semi-automatic M16s and Glock 17 handguns, firing 30 rounds from each, complete with magazine change, in varied protocols that mimic real life situations. All of our firearms are meticulously maintained and our cartridges (bullets) are from the top manufacturers; insuring your safety throughout your experience.

We provide hearing protection, paper targets that you get to keep, water, and snacks. We know you have a choice when you decide who to book your experience with so please consider:

• As the only outfit noted as eco-friendly and guided by the principles of Tread Lightly and Leave No Trace, we NEVER leave brass, cinder blocks, or other garbage behind.
• We carry NRA insurance and are happy to ALWAYS have our Instructors’ certifications available for your review!
